Hello, I am having hard time connecting to my development SQL server through the firewall. Both the web server and the DB server are on the DMZ port of my firewall, and I am trying to connect to the SQL box via EM from the LAN side of the firewall. The firewall in questions is a SonicWall Pro. I've opened up ports 1433 and 1434 for machines from the inside the LAN to the DMZ, but I am still timing out while trying to register the SQL server. I would greatly appreciate any tips as I am tired of running between floors when I need to adjust something in the database. Thanks!
