As much as it pains me to respond the way I'm doing now, I'm kind of glad
there won't be a Linux version of Studio any time soon.

Unfortunately, there's no such thing as a free lunch. Porting Studio to
Linux would cost MM time and money, which they probably don't have. There's
no way in hell they'd be able to recoup their development costs - there
simply aren't enough people using Linux as their desktop. I know that you'd
be all over it yourself, but I don't think the development costs would be
covered by your use - especially since you'd get it for free, working for MM
and all. So, MM would have to spread those costs across Studio purchases in
general, I think.

Second, I suspect that Studio will be changing dramatically in the next
release, and if this is true, I'll be happy for a stable Windows version.
