I was having trouble getting my set up to work. I did not know at the
time that there were incompatibilities between CF 4.0 and Windows 2000.
Out of desperation I called the local head of the CF user group and he
said that they would fix the problems. This guy was the one assigned to
fix the problems.

He got it to work. I started using the setup for learning. Because of
 other
non computer tasks I only used the computer a few times. When I got
back to it after a month I got the message that the trail version had
 expired.

Some one at Macromedia said that this was the reason. It was during the
summer and by the time I could get around to going back to the guy the
beta 5.0 version was out. I tried that and it worked.

I think that they would have fixed the problem without charging me more if
I had gone back. It was one of those dumb goofs. I never understood
why Allaire put tempt version on the disk with the full version. The
blank CDs are not that expensive.
