While ColdFusion doesn't support double byte we actually didn't have any
problems with displaying double byte characters, with the following
exception:
CFTree (and probably all the other CF applets).
we have all the language information in the database and store it
structures at start up.
to properly display double byte in the browser you have to set the charset
to match your language.
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html;charset="her goes your
character set">
Studio before 5 didn't support double byte.
Studio 5 should support it but we didn't have time to test it yet (probably
next week or so).

is anyone (else) using studio for unicode format (utf-8
in particular) cf/html templates? it seems to be mangling
my existing (notepad produced) utf-8 cf & html files
pretty consistently. any new utf-8 format files (studio
5 produced) are also garbaged. a wild guess is that
its mucking up the BOM.

I hope that it is working fine so our Korean partner will buy and use it.
