But you work with computers and you understand the issues. Most people 
prefer convenience because they don't know better. What you just wrote 
shows that you are more informed than most microsoft users, so it's a bad 
plan to make the assumption that they are concerned about security.

Think about your customers this way: if your mother was going to buy 
something from your site, which would she prefer? She would prefer less 
typing. Then I'd tell her it's bad and she'd get worried and stop having 
her credit card stored. My father would prefer a site that stores his 
credit card number and if I told him there were huge security risks there, 
he wouldn't even care. His assumption is that his information is 
well-protected and even if it gets out, he has fraud protection.

Unless you have an extremely specialized site, you are not its target 
audience. It is a bad move to assume yourself as the target audience of a 
site, even when you know that your stance is wiser.
