Andy, you may want to drop this question in to the
[EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list... the guys there will give you
some better answers... (they are probably on this list too, but saves
people whinging at you!)

There are ODBC drivers available to connect to SQL Server databases, or
you could use mySQL or Postgres depending on your applications needs.
