What about Java Swing? I've heard it's really turning out to be a great tool for GUI design.
Anyone know more about this? Nathaniel Horwitz http://www.nathanielhorwitz.com > yeah, Java does not suck at GUI design! I rarely see a Java GUI which I find impressive, from an end-user's perspective - they just look like rough versions of the VB "gray-box" GUIs from the past, and tend to be pretty slow, unresponsive and crash-prone at that. > The first versions of Java may have sucked, but its WAY > better now. And that's where I think Java excels - as a server-side language. I don't necessarily blame Java for the failure of its GUI components, since there's no other really good example of truly cross-platform GUI components in common use, but whenever I see a Java GUI, I always tend to cringe a bit.
