Hey Dave,

Are you thinking about CF Studio on OSX or CF Server on OSX? If it's Studio I'm
pretty sure they'll just tell you to get Dreamweaver. If it's server, I bet it won't
be long before some figures it out. It runs on linux now, and I've heard of people
putting it on some flavor of BSD I can't remember. OSX is based of a BSD if I recall
correctly so with enough tweaking and adding to OSX I bet it could be done. But it
would be totally unsupported so you'd be own your own or looking for community support
to maintain it.

As for future releases, I doubt they'd be doing an OSX release because the market is
too small to justify the added development costs. It is the same issue that comes up
with Studio on Linux. Some people would LOVE to have it. They think everyone would
love to have it. I like to feel that way sometimes too. But the reality is, there
aren't enough people who'd pay for it for them to recoup their costs.

If it was economical I bet you'd see it, but I for one, can't see the justification
for it through MM eyes.

Have a good evening,

t

Anyone know if Macromedia is planning CF for MacOSX?
