Don't forget that the future release of ColdFusion, Neo, is written in Java... write once run anywhere. Java Bytecode is platform independent. Given that a JVM exists for the platform, all you need to write for each platform is an installer. If Macromedia does not make an installer for OSX, you can probably bet that it wouldn't be that far out of reach to get it running on OSX. Also don't forget they announced that Neo will also run on top of other J2EE servers (WebSphere, BEA WebLogic, etc), so that's another feather in your cap. check out: http://www.macromedia.com/software/coldfusion/resources/neo/faq/ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Pete Freitag ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) CTO, CFDEV.COM ColdFusion Developer Resources http://www.cfdev.com/ ______________________________________________________________________ Dedicated Windows 2000 Server PIII 800 / 256 MB RAM / 40 GB HD / 20 GB MO/XFER Instant Activation $99/Month Free Setup http://www.pennyhost.com/redirect.cfm?adcode=coldfusiona FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists
