Ultimate Bulletin Board by Infopop systems is great!  It's a perl (not cf, sorry), but 
I've integrated it very well.  I don't
know, however, about the database issue, since it uses flat files.  It runs about 
$200-$300, and only takes about 20 minutes to
setup.
