Mayhaps my statement was too wide of a net catching the kernel team, 
beowulf, and other generally worthy folk, etc, as some of that is indeed 
cutting edge. Nevertheless I do find threading models generally more 
logically pleasant to work with. Forking processes, et al just seems rather 
very kludgy and archaic, like we're still running COBOL on VAXen or some 
such. :) But perhaps that's just my OO tastes.
