It could be that the message was eaten. Messages posted between 2am and 1:30pm (EST, I think) Thur, May 16, were lost on the webforums, due to a catastrophic failure in the hardware that housed the message database. The machine was replaced with another, but the db was restored from backup, thus the retro to 2am.
However, all messages should still be present in the newsgroup, as it doesn't use the database, it's still a (more or less) independent system, and the webforums just acts like a client of the newsgroups for mirroring purposes.
