No. CF MX doesn't need a connector for its built-in web server. There isn't much configuration necessary for that - just install CF MX, choose "standalone", and it's up and running, on port 8500 by default. You can change some things about the built-in web server, but I'm not sure how much you can change; I'm sure that this is covered in the documentation, though. I do know that the jrun.xml file allows you to specify things like "is the built-in web server on", or what port it listens at.
