I could ask.... -----Original Message----- From: Ian Tait [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 20 June 2002 12:38 To: CF-Talk Subject: RE: Web-Services and proxy server
Can you ask not to use the proxy? Ian -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 20 June 2002 12:20 To: CF-Talk Subject: RE: Web-Services and proxy server Ummm. Couldn't get Netscape to work. It is an NTML proxy. But spoken to my network man, and his view is that it is a pretty standard proxy protocol. And looking around on the net, it seems it to me. Not so surprised that Netscape doesn't handle it, but surely I can't be the only CF user who has this set-up. Anyone else faced this problem? -----Original Message----- From: Dave Watts [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 19 June 2002 15:42 To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' Cc: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' Subject: RE: Web-Services and proxy server > No I can't get CFHTTP to work, i get connection failure > trying to reach anything. Any ideas what else I might look at? Out of curiosity, can you get to the target page using Netscape? If you're using a proxy which uses NTML Authentication, and requires Internet Explorer, then you won't be able to use CFHTTP or CFINVOKE through the proxy server.
