So, you're saying that AOL doesn't like the CFServer's cfid/cftoken cookies either? You sure about that? I know that AOL basically changes the user's IP with *every* mouse click, I've tested this at my previous job... it sucks. ;)
I can see this being a problem if you're managing your own cookie (via the cookie killer trick), but if you let the cfserver manage the cookies, it should do it properly. Course, I can't confirm this because I don't use AOL. ~Todd On Wed, 17 Jul 2002, Justin Hansen wrote: > While I haven't had this problem myself (I soon will), I have heard this "CF vs. >AOL" tid bit. > > An AOL users IP address may (and do) change during a session, when it does, CF >thinks they are a new user and the user is no longer associated with their session. >The only way around this is to add CFID and CFTOKEN to every url in the site. > > Can anybody confirm or deny this? > > Justin Hansen > -------------------------- > Uhlig Communications > Systems Engineer > -------------------------- > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > 913-754-4273 > -------------------------- > > -----Original Message----- > From: Tilbrook, Peter [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Tuesday, July 16, 2002 5:46 PM > To: CF-Talk > Subject: RE: Cf vs AOL help needed.... > > > I can't see why.
