Hi Brandon,

I'm glad the XML Toolkit is useful for your application. Yes, please do send
me the VTM error alerts off-list. I'd also be very interested to find out
whether or not XML proves to be an appropriate technology for your intranet
portal - do let the list know when you have any conclusions.

Have a good weekend

Tom

P.S. Your kind words about the Toolkit are much appreciated, but I can't
take all the credit: it was developed in collaboration with my friend David
Maddison.

P.P.S. Just noticed a mistake in my last post to the list... just in case
anyone was interested, the third paragraph should have read:

As for storing this in state, you could use the optional CACHEDWITHIN
attribute of either the CF_XMLDatasource tag or the CF_XMLQuery tag,
probably depending on whether you are using a single XML document to store
all the users settings (you'd cache the query) or a separate document
for each user (you'd cache the datasource). This attribute works in exactly
the same way as it does with CFQUERY.
