Zac asked for some clarification, so here goes ----
If you were going to train developers to do CF and XML, what would you want
to make absolutely sure they knew how to do? What skills would they need to
accomplish the kinds of tasks they would be called on to do every day? And
what prerequisites would they need before they could learn those skills?
What I'm trying to avoid are the obvious answers ("You need to know CF and
XML") and to focus on what are called "performance-based objectives". If I
were doing this for Java, I would start with saying they must be able to
instantiate classes, overload and override methods, cast variables, etc.
I hope this is clearer.
