I use mySQL Manager by EMS for looking after my msSQL dbs. They also have a product called SQL Manager 2005. If it works like the mySQL version, you'll be able to do everything you need to do. Copy whole dbs, copy tables, restore backups, etc. Very easy to use.

Download a trial here http://www.sqlmanager.net/en/products/mssql/manager/download
