Is it a matter of haggling though or is it a matter of taing advantage of those non IT savy customers who dont really know any better so they charge as much as what someone is willing to pay for something?
I mean i would certainly pay $140 for them if the services they are offering were of benefit to me. What is even more anoying is that these additional services are charged as extra anyway so your not really getting anything extra. The only reason i stayed with melbourneIT was because thats who i started using and it is what i knew, and the fact that i was not aware that NetRegistry had a control pannel that i could manage my domains from. When i found this out i started moving them all. If it was a matter of a few dollars then i wouldnt have bothered, but when your looking at $100 difference, you really start to wonder how they can justify the cost differences between the two companies. In actual fact, the cost for domains at MelbourneIT have not changed since i started working in this industry.
