Day 8. Taco, I seriously doubt that (blog post) is what your experiencing and again I think you're off the track. It's depressing and somewhat insulting that you haven't reported back on the suggestions I provided (any of them).
I'd love it if someone with some 'authority' ie Ray Camden could step in and sort this one out for us (he was here the other day, maybe he's discovered Coopers and gone on a bender *joking*). Keeping in mind that your original post stated your problem is occuring in OnSessionEnd and OnApplicationEnd, please let me respond to the blog post you linked us to; 1. It's mainly talking about 'silencing' the OnError method when CFABORT is used (ie: development/debugging scenario). That's the first <cfif> condition. Do you have a cfabort in OnSessionEnd or OnApplicationEnd? Me thinks not. 2. The second condition (cfelseif) is not relevant to you because your error is in OnApplicationEnd and OnSessionEnd. There for you would not meet this condition because arguments.exception.message would equal "Event Handler Exception." (as you showed us in your email - May 14, 2007 9:42 AM.) 3. The 3rd condition would not be met again because arguments.exception.message is "Event Handler Exception.". AND because OnSessionEnd and OnApplicationEnd do not have access to the cookie scope (because they do not run in the context of a page request). That 3rd cfelseif is clearly designed to handle invalid sessions during a page request - because it's trying to redirect and is also invalidating the jsessionid cookie. I ask again, have you actually examined your own arguments.exception.RootCause? If so, what did it say? I'll happily accept that I'm way off the mark here, if we could sort it out one way or the other. If you don't want my suggestions please just say so. I'll put it down to experience and move on.
