I installed this computer and if thats the options selected it wasn't
obvious that I shouldn't do this, Vista should stop users doing stupid
things.

Im pretty sure that on XP the Administrator account was not disabled by
default.

Anyone who creates an account, and then changes it so that the user
can't change their password and that the account expires, is not very
intelligent.

As for the administrator account, this was also the same on Windows XP
it is always disabled by default.

Not sure the same tricks for Windows XP exist for Vista, but a
reinstall / update will fix it.
