Just saw this and thought I'd post quickly...

We had this problem occur too on several CF ecommerce sites - same
symptoms, no code changes and transactions suddenly stopped being
processed. Have since resolved the problem with Eway - apparently it
only affected Coldfusion sites and was due to IIS compression.

Their response verbatim below:
--
"After a lot of investigating and testing the issue was resolved late
Friday. This issue was due to IIS compression that affected Coldfusion
sites only and has now been removed from our servers. If you are
still experiencing any problems let me know, but I'm confident that it
is now working as required."
--

We haven't had any further problems - fingers crossed.

FYI we are now using Payment Express (http://
www.paymentexpress.com.au) for new sites and early signs are looking
good - better technical documentation, support, and integration.

Cross-post/plug: We need 2 Coldfusion developers fairly urgently to
complete several major projects we are working on - possibility of
permanent role - ad has been posted on cfjobs and Seek. If anyone can
help us out it would be much appreciated, or refer a friend.
We're finding CF developers are very thin on the ground down here in
Melb.

Cheers
