I found it quite an easy learning curve, and the documentation is second to none in the CF world. (As far as I have seen). I've not used FB, so I can't comment on that. Have sat through an online pres with Melb CFUG and just this morning listened to an interview with Luis Majano. I'm fairly interested, just no time to attend to this at the moment. Re FB 5, not using 5.5, but am using mvc with FB5. Re long load time - I'm finding it satisfactory in production mode. I am leveraging Spry Ajax, which makes it very good for a lot of the content, I don't need to re-load css, js, layouts, etc Re re-loading app when adding fuseaction. Yes, when running in production mode. Are you wanting to add fuseactions in production cycle? I'd also like to hear from anyone working with ColdBox, particularly in terms of learning curve, ease of entry, etc. Anyone using ColdBox AOP capability, dependency injection? By the way, has anyone played with Steve Nelson's experimental VERY simple CFC Fusebox replacement? It's about time he did an update. Please let us know if you've had a play. http://labs.webapper.net/projects/CFCFramework/index.cfm PR On Jun 2, 12:12 pm, "Adam Chapman" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi All, > > Just after any comments on anyone's experience with coldbox and > particularly how it compares to fusebox 5.5 (With MVC design pattern). > > From what I have found, I can only find positive comments about coldbox. > > A couple of things that I find work against FB5: > > - Long fusebox.load times > - Having to reload an application when new fuseactions are added to a > circuit > - The occasional 'corrupt' parsed file.. > > I'm not sure if FB5.5 has addressed any of these issues. > > Regards, > Adam Chapman -- E: [EMAIL PROTECTED] W: www.compoundtheory.com _________________________________________________________________ Are you paid what you're worth?
