Have seen this before. Are you using CFQUERYPARAM? If you are i bet the
SQL server is holding onto a cached version of the query by name. have you
tried restarting your SQL server?

Subject: [cfaussie] A Very Strange Cache Issue

I have a strange issue I can't fix.

I have a simple .cfm that does a query.

We recently changed one of the column names. From extension to total.

The page keeps running with the old name, and now generates an error.

[Macromedia][SQLServer JDBC Driver][SQLServer]Invalid column name
'extension'.

Now I have tried everything I could think of, it's a flex project. I deleted
the entire folder and did an export release build to get the correct file
there. I have looked at the output file to see if it has the right code, it
does.

I disabled template cache, and cleared the template cache in Administrator,
I restarted ColdFusion, I rebooted my computer. Still this error comes up.

The last thing I tried was I renamed the page from

quote.cfm to xxx.cfm thinking I would get an error, but no, it still runs
and gets the same error, so somewhere ColdFusion has a cached version of
this template compiled and won't let go is what Im thinking, any ideas?
