Steve, just curious and interested to see this thread kicked along... ... is something like the X-DATE you want to do covered in any RFC's on email? eg: RFC 5321 or perhaps part of the extended SMTP additions? just hoping there might be a spec that covered it and - perhaps by miracle - painlessly supported by <CFMAIL />?
