Cant
you just work out what the next level is when you do your processing from the
form submittion?
If you
dont want to, I would create a hidden form field and use an onChange event
handeler to trigger a _javascript_ function to populate the hidden
field.
you
would have to create the array to populate the field though.

Subject: [cfaussie] RE: forms and ListsYes sorta,But I would like the lower levels to be hidden from the user but still pass the values. Make sense...?Believe it or not there is a method to my madness I just need to figure out the method.i.e.Level 1Level 1.1 (hidden)Level 1.2 (hidden)etc etc etcI need to think of a better way of sending multiple variables via a form....then do an action after that for each sub variable sent.....oh boy...I think I need to rethink this...J.--------Original Message-----

Subject: [cfaussie] forms and ListsHey,I have an idea and I'm not sure how to go about it. Or even if it is possible.1. I have a form and a drop down list containing a list.2. now in this group there could be a number of variables within it.Example:Var 1Var 2Var 3--------Var 4 (Group) (with a single value)Now when Var 4 is passed there is a list within itExample:Var 4var 1var 2var 3I'm thinking of using array to list function but has anyone come across doing such a wild and crazy coding.Regards,
Jeremy Watson
