I hate to be the bearer of conflicting evidence but you CAN (and should
where possible/practical) use mappings for CFINCLUDE.
Firstly, I have tested it and used it. �It works.
Secondly, from the CFMX Admin mappings page.....
"ColdFusion mappings apply only to pages processed by the ColdFusion Server
with the CFINCLUDE and CFMODULE tags..." (emphasis of tag names added).
However, that statement is not completely correct because it also works for
CFC's (ie. you can map the root of your CFC path and the sub-paths will all
work correctly).
