Yeah but once you fullfill those requirements, whats to say that it is actually a valid email address?
[EMAIL PROTECTED] this would pass any email validater, but one would safly say that the email address is a crap one thats what I mean All you can do is check that its formatted properly, but as for if is a valid email address and the account exists, well good luck. I have added into my validation scripts to do a post to the actual domain used in the address and then check the response that you get back, IE if you get a "Connection Failure" response, then there is no way the address is valid, but then I cam across mail servers not using standard ports ect.
