Many thanks. I've been using CF4 and 5 with Apache 1 with no problems. I've never gone to the effort of upgrading to Apache 2, most of what I read suggested it didn't work or required workarounds that I wasn't prepared to try. Since I'm about to go through the pain of CFMX I thought I might as well go to Apache 2 at the same time.
Thanks again,
Brett

It runs fine. The only proviso is that you have to make sure you get the right version of Apache. If you're running straight CFMX, you can get a patch to run Apache 2.0.39 (http://www.macromedia.com/v1/handlers/index.cfm?ID=23162) If you install the updater 2, you need to run Apache 2.0.40 (I think. Check the tech notes). We've been running CF under Apache since Ver 4 days. It's lightweight, fast, and easy to configure. And a lot more secure than other webservers I could mention. Installing Apache takes a couple of minutes, tops. Setting it up doesn't take much longer once you're familiar with the configs. If you need any specific config assistance, drop me a note.
