Have you tried randomising the image name, e.g. <img src="#imagename#.jpg?#RandRange(1,1000000)#">

The user adds an image to a product via a web page, it is then processed using cffile and uploaded to the server. That works fine. Then they may want to change that image. They select the product, see the existing image then upload the new one. All appears to be fine until they view the new image and it is still the old one. It will then magically appear to be the new one in a minute or two. I have checked all the temporary internet files settings, flushed caches and everything. The client really wants the image to be changed instantly. Any one got any ideas. Here is our current set-up. ColdFusion 5 Windows 2000 Server Files hosted on a Linux machine linked to the Coldfusion server using Services For Unix..
