you can create DSN's as a registry thing,
CFREGISTRY or Factory Services would probably be a go.
I've got a custom tag around somewhere from cf
4.5 I think that looped over *.mdb files in a directory and created DSN's on
the fly. I'll see if I can find it if your interested

for the adminitrator and do a post to the dsn script of the
administrator

know of a way to create bulk DSN's. We have a situation
where we need to create 120 DSN. Don't want to do them
manually. Can this be automated in MX or Win 2000
