Thanks for your ideas guys. All of your suggestions were perfectly viable
and in the end it's a bit of a draw between them. I think I will go with
the <cfhttp> method because it's the only one not depending on the browser
doing the right thing, and it's also the best in terms of code neatness /
readability (ie you don't get the program execution jumping onto a
completely different template). With all other things being equal, I think
this is the best solution for now.
