Im having issues getting UTF-8 web pages to display correctly.
It currently works like this:
a) If the page encoding is set to iso-8859-1, the UTF text ( japanese )
looks like gobble-de-gook.
Just like it should in fact.
If I manually change the encoding of the page to UTF-8 the gbg changes
to the correct japanese characters.
b) If I set the encoding of the page to UTF-8, the characters look exactly
the same as in (a).
Except that changing the encoding doesnt help.
Has anyone encountered this? The encoding of the page is definetely
correct. Its like there is something sneaking in behind me and messing
everything up.
Jon.
