It has been a while since I dealt with cfmail-generated files but I remember that they 
were standard email format with a few extra X- headers at the top for the CF server to 
use. If that is so then there are few custom tags about that can strip an email file 
into its various bits. The one we use is CFX_ODSMIME from coolfusion 
(http://www.coolfusion.com/downloads/) as it comes with the iMS mail server that we 
use and promote as often as we can :-)
