We recently upgraded a few servers to CFMX (finally).

I've got a third party forum that's doing weird things.

Basically, when i submit a forum post and then display the thread, i get
some
double byte characters prepended to each new post.

If i take a look at the record via my DB GUI interface, all i see is a
single
double byte charater as the value (with the rest of the string missing).

If i view the value via the forum, i get the full message with the
prepended
double character.

Database is MySQL 4.

Any ideas?
