There are only a couple of Surf Report sites in SA and I'm personally a bit
suspicious of their reports. I just want a nice interface that will
dynamically reports wind data, swell maps and weather in general. All the
info is freely available from the BOM, only problem is that I've had trouble
trying to parse the data that they provide. Using regular expressions
seemed to work the best, but I couldn't get the results perfect everytime
because I've got no idea what how the data is masked.

So, if anyone has any tips they can give me on parsing BOM data it'd be a
good start :) Perhaps someone knows the right BOM data I should be using?
Or maybe there is another source for that information, preferably something
like an XML source or WDDX type thing?

I'm already generating and archiving thumbnails of all the various wind and
swell maps that I use, next step is to display them dynamically...
Hopefully this all works!

P.s. Current water temp is "Brass Monkey"... Waves have been good though!

Miles.
