At last, we are upgrading from 4 to MX. I'm on the hunt for suitable books to help me make the jump.
Trawling through the cfaussie archives, I've gathered that - * although Ben Forta is The Guru, anything he wrote above version 4 was not that useful (i.e. didn't add much above ver 4 knowledge) * "Programming Coldfusion" by Rob Brooks-Bilson is pretty good * "CF MX From Static To Dynamic In Ten Steps" by frequent Cfaussier Barry Moore is also quite good, but is aimed at people new to CF * "MM CF MX" by Eric Lubd is also okay Overall, I'm looking for recommendations of any book which is likely to be most helpful in upskilling from 4 to MX. Anyone care to put in their vote, or comment/compare the above ? Perhaps include value for money comparisions as well, as our management are very cost-conscious. --- You are currently subscribed to cfaussie as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] MX Downunder AsiaPac DevCon - http://mxdu.com/
