Hi James, We have just upgraded our development/ test environment from 6 to 6.1 on Friday. The only small issue we came across was in a cflocation tag - if you say yes to add token you can not also add cfide and cftoken as variables on the end of the url string in the tag. Realistically this is double up anyway but 6 didn't have a problem with it- 6.1 however will. Other than that we haven't noticed any differences. It has fixed a couple major problems with cfchart thou!
We will continue testing our code in development for a day or 2 more but we are confident there aren't any major problems with our projects and we will upgrade our production environment asap. "James Macpherson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Hey all, Just contemplating the shift from 6.0 to 6.1 on our production server, Windows 2000 IIS. Any forseen problems with this configuration? We use a lot of CFHTTP and CFMODULE and connect to a MSSQL 7.0 server for some pretty intensive database-driven sites. Almonst need to take the plunge but don't really have the resources (eg. redundancy and testing) to do it as I'd like... And we were quite badly bitten when the 4.5 -> 6.0 updater behaved very differently with regards to verity, cfhttp and unicode in particular as compared to our development server which was a clean MX install... Any feedback would be awesome, cheers all, - James --- You are currently subscribed to cfaussie as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] MX Downunder AsiaPac DevCon - http://mxdu.com/
