Experts believe none of the 500 people in the Sari Club and Paddy's Bar would have survived if the Bali bombing had gone as planned, it was reported.
The Herald Sun and Daily Telegraph said less than one-third of the vehicle bomb that went off outside the Sari Club actually exploded. The Bali attack on October 12 last year killed 202 people, including 88 Australians, and injured 168. An Australian Federal Police (AFP) official was reported as saying the toll could have been in the thousands as the bomb had the potential to obliterate buildings over a radius of hundreds of metres. Poor preparation resulted in most of the 1.1-tonne mix of chemicals burning instead of blowing up, AFP forensic specialists found. --- You are currently subscribed to cfaussie as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] MX Downunder AsiaPac DevCon - http://mxdu.com/
