So if you click on the very large link at the top left hand corner of http://www.mozilla.org/products/firebird/ that says 'Download Mozilla Firebird 0.7 for Windows' you don't actually get an installation file, but a zip file that gives you an incomplete install. If you take the very small link below that that offers Install Instructions, and then go to the very end of the page it takes you to, you get told to unzip the file into an empty directory and run the .exe file called Firebird... There's nothing about Jiggery-Pokery.
