> What is the minimum screen resolution that people design...

We build to 800x600 as a minimum (haven't bothered with 640x480 for a few
years now).

Personally, i don't think that developers will bother with larger
resolutions for sometime to come, as i reckon most people surf with their
browser in 'window' mode (as opposed to maximised). Making their actual
screen resolution a bit redundant.

Although, with ever improving screen technologies, i think you'll find that
the average native screen dpi will increase to somewhere around the 100 mark
(currently around 70 for run-of-mill CRTs and lcd sitting a bit higher).
When that happens, we can all start aiming for higher "standard"
resolutions.

I read somewhere that Longhorn's GUI is being designed for 100 DPI
screens... so look out for some serious development in the CRT/LCD arena
over the next couple of years.
