Personally, i don't think that developers will bother with larger
resolutions for sometime to come, as i reckon most people surf with their
browser in 'window' mode (as opposed to maximised). Making their actual
screen resolution a bit redundant.

I'd agree with that. That's why I find it such a pleasure to use a TABBED browser. Easy to run full screen with lots of windows open.


We decided to go with 1024 width for http://www.mxdu.com/ cos we thought the audience would have that capability. What does everyone think??
