what about adding this to your Application.cfm template:
<cfif IsDefined("Cookie.CFID") AND IsDefined("Cookie.CFTOKEN")>
<cfset cfid_local = Cookie.CFID>
<cfset cftoken_local = Cookie.CFTOKEN>
<cfcookie name="CFID" value="#cfid_local#">
<cfcookie name="CFTOKEN" value="#cftoken_local#">
</cfif>

Subject: [cfaussie] sessions won't go away
Hi all.
I thought CF sessions would die when the browser is closed, just like ASP,
but aparently not.
the buggers won't die unless you explicitly logout or delete the cookies
(using the browser settings). I set up the J2EE sessions on server but it
didn't help.
any ideas?
cheers
