something like:

<CFSCRIPT>
        function IsURLEncoded(text)
        {
                if (REFind("%[0-9]{2}",text)) return true;
                return false;

[cfaussie] isURLEncoded

hey all -

Anyone know a nifty way to tell if a string is URL Encoded or not?

I'm drawing blanks.

Just getting some data from an external source, and SOME of it will need to be decoded ,and
some won't be, the rules of which are slightly haphazard, so I thought if i could tell if a string
was encoded, I could subsequently decode it.

TIA

Mark
