What he said.

We have CVS managing a repository of
ColdFusion/Flash/JavaScript/other code in excess of 90000
lines of code/500 files for our custom CMS/website delivery
system. It's used daily by six developers, who are often
working on the same files. We rarely have problems; when we
do it's because we haven't talked and end up working on the
same part of the same file in parallel.

We will soon have CVS talking to Bugzilla, helping to comment
bug reports and managing bug status changes too.

Take heed of Sean's comments, he's a guru. We use TortoiseCVS
as a Windows-based CVS client. The repository sits on a Red
Hat Linux box, but has previously had its home on a Windows
2000 Server box.
