Have you had a look at the style.uni file in the appropriate Verity collection ? It is a text file and can be read in any editor. This file may have been corrupt or may have been from an older implementation of Verity. You may have to completely remove your Verity collection and create it from scratch. In addition, I would also be looking at what Geoff was talking about and making sure that your installation of Verity is a current build and that it is installed properly. >From looking at the style.uni file for some Verity collections I have, the flt_kv filter is core to Verity and used to manage most types automatically.
