I think I remember Kym explaining once that there is a way to do this in IE. Here goes, untested & off the top of my head, Kym please correct me if I'm leading people astray.
If you open browser window 1 and then hit cntl+n to open browser window 2 they will share they session data, because they essentially the same browser instance. However if you open browser window 1 and then go back to your IE icon and open browser window 2 they will not share sessions because they are separate browser instances. Alternatively you could just use one window of IE and one window of Firebird (which is what I do).
