But I love working with Oracle ;o) It has it's quirks like many other DBs, but the power of it is truly a sight to behold (particularlly the XML handling capabilities - i.e. db side XSL transformations, and XPath searches) There is a developer version you can download at: http://otn.oracle.com/software/products/oracle9i/index.html You may need to create a pass to login.
