The packages will be most portable when you save then as a structured
storage file.

A DTS package BTW will use the server it's executed from.

I have some DTS packages which I successfully move from server to server,
never changing a thing, they are all Structured Storage Files though.

PS. Use DTSrunui to create the execute string (its easier ;-))
