Just for interest’s sake –
at work they have a tendency to call them YAH’s. You-Are-Hear. Sounds silly, dunnit? ;o) Mark From:

[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Taco Fleur Who came up with the name "Breadcrumbs", and is it
really being used as it was intended when the person thought of the word
"Breadcrumb" to describe some functionality? To me breadcrumbs is more like creating an array and upon
each request pre-pend the requested page to the array, i.e. just like the
"Back" button, it keeps a history of where you have been, not
what your location is within the system. I like to show the location to the
user, its definitely user-friendly, but I am hesitant to call it
"Breadcrumbs" for the reason mentioned above.. I do use both in my
system but call the "History/Back" functionality Breadcrumbs, and
what everyone else calls Breadcrumbs I call "Location". Can anyone shed some light on this (yet another idiotic subject)? Hansel and Gretel
